what do you plan on doing with the land that was already owned by Jews? Something like %80 of the land that comprised the original Jewish state was already owned by Jews BEFORE the creation of Israel. Do they get to keep that land?
%50 of the Arabs now living in the refugee tents are not from, and are not descended from, anyone who ever lived in Israel or the occupied territories. Since they have no land claims, do they now leave?
Will Islam allow the Jews who remain access to the Western Wall?
I only ask because Jews were NOT given access to the Western Wall when they controlled Jeruslam.
By the way....I want to make sure I am clear about this....there should be a second Palestinian State. There were Palestinians that were treated unjustly and chased from their lands. Israel has not behaved perfectly. The attacks on Lebanon made no moral, strategic, or tactical sense. They were wrong. We are not perfect, and it's not a perfect situation.

Miss puzzle...you need to read about who really owned land there. Jews had already been buying up huge quantities of land decades before Israel existed. And Arabs were happy to sell land that was honestly very very cheap. Of the original land that became Israel...before any of the wars....%80 was owned by Jews. It might be %75, it might be %85....but it's around 80. It's one of those facts that Al Jezarra (sp?) doesn't mention.

Has anyone else noticed that not a single Muslim has answered this question in a straight forward manner? They can all chant they should have a state...but when posed specific questions...they have no answer.
You got the typical anti-Jewish rhettoric...one guy who said we never owned land and were all nomads....etc.
We had one Muslim who clearly had no idea that Jews owned vast amounts of Israel before they ever had a state.
They haven't said what will happen to the western wall.
Does that clear up the issue about moderate Islam?

Dear Fatima....
Because you teach Middle Eastern history doesn't mean a thing to me.
I acknowledge many mistakes Israel has made. Israel has not acted as a perfect neighbor.
There is plenty of blame to go around.
I asked a specific question that you didn't answer.
What happens with the Wailing Wall. What happens to the huge tracts of land already owned by Jews. What happens to the %50 of Arabs with no land claims in Israel.
You don't have an answer, do you teacher?
Moderate Islam at its finest.

Your "views" are myths. It is easily verifiable that Jews owned roughly %80 of the land that ORIGINALLY comprised the Jewish state. They weren't 80 of the population.
Islam did not allow others access to the wailing wall.
If you don't give us access now, why should we give it back? For that matter why should you be allowed access to the Holy Mount?
There was a huge European polulation in Israel BEFORE it was ever a state.
Both sides were fighting for control long before the state as well.
The original deal was a compromise, where both would have a state.

There have been TWO Palestinian Arab states from the territory of the British Mandate of Palestine.
In 1917, 7/8ths of that area became Jordan. Yes, 7/8ths of the British Mandate is Arab controlled.
When the UK pulled out altogether in 1948, the remaining 1/8th was divided roughly in half to create a Jewish state and an Arab state.
The ARAB LEAGUE -- not the people, the governments -- refused to accept the state for the Palestinian Arabs because it necessitated the acceptance of the Jewish state. The next day, five Arab nations invaded Israel.
The Palestinian Arab refugee crisis was manufactured by the governments of the Arab League in order to undermine Israel. They will do anything and everything to destroy the Jewish state, including sacrificing the Palestinian Arabs.
The Palestinian state was good to go. It was the Arab League that refused it. Do the math.

You ask, why did so many Arabs end up in Palestine?
During the British Mandate, even well into the 1940s, Arabs were allowed into "Palestine" in huge numbers without visa or passport, especially from the Hauran District of Syria, while the British continued to do everything possible to prevent Jews from entering, even down to the last minute when all attempts were made to deny entry to thousands of Jewish refugees fleeing the Nazis. Only in 1948 were Jewish refugees allowed free entry to their homeland, and that was because Israel had, once again, become an independent nation.
[The Arabs of Ottoman Palestine may have] had certain attachments to the fields they were cultivating but at the same time they were destroying the Land. Parkes stated that "in the wars between villages it was far too common a practice to cut down fruit trees and olives and to destroy crops, and this in the end caused as much loss of life through hunger as was caused by the actual casualties of fighting". He concluded that "in spite of the immense fertility of the soil, it is probable that in the first half of the nineteenth century the population sank to the lowest level it had ever known in historic times".
Palestinian leaders claim that Israel is built on Arab land, when the truth is that eyewitnesses such as Mark Twain and Rev. Manning of England who visited the Holy Land in the 19th century wrote that the land was barren and empty. The population then was less that 5% of today's population.

What I dont understand is why the settlers need to be kicked out to create a Palestinian state in the West Bank.
Aside from the fact that almost all the land that current settlements are built on was state land taken from Jordan- not the Palestinians.
Isn't it raciest to say you only want a 100% Arab state?
I mean if 20% of the citizens of Israel are Arab then why can 20% of the citizens of Palestine be Jews?
As for Jerusalem history has shown that the old city is best taken care of if it is in the hands of Israel. Muslim worshipers should have full rights to pray as they wish, but they have a poor history of protecting sites that are considered holly to other faiths.

we have Palestinians Jews, and we don't mind living with them, but not under a foreign rule that oppresses us. 80 percent was not for Jew already. You mean 80 percent of the Jews stole the land right. Islam always let all religions have access to their sacred things. Like the church where Jesus is presumably born or synagogues.
btw i don't watch aljazeera as much as i watch CNN, i just try to uncover the truth. MOST of Israeli Jews are European and arrived to Palestine after 1940 in huge quantities. There were also Arab Jews. Yes, before Israel was claimed as a state remember that the British owned Palestine and many were forced to give up their land (i know many who did, and many who were killed trying not to.) There were maybe 100,000 Jews originally from Palestine, the rest today are from all over the world
Look, I looked all over the history of Palestine, the books, the wars, the religions, the rights, and the present and none did i find that jews owned 80 of the land. I mean where did the palestinian refugees live if they didn't have the land that the jews took? The wall will remain, lets just hope the mosque will remain in the next few years. What more straight answer do you need? We Want a state, with no opression and our rights back!
Let me answer you:
The Wailing wall will remain as it did thousands of years ago in muslim rule
there is no proof that jews owned 80 of the land more then 100 years before isreal was considered a state.
Many muslims have different views so don't generlize things, okay?

We hear so much about stolen land today.
Maybe we should read more into the History of the Middle East and discover who lived in Palestine before Islam... and why there is a Moslem Mosque in Jerusalem today and no Judaic temple.
If you are fair-minded as you sound, you may also want to get new eyewear and take a good look into Palestanian and Lebanon issues...and while you're at it, you may come up with a good definition for 'morality' pertaining to the Jews and its neighbors in the Middle East.
Many Jews I've met are blind in one eye. Many Palestanians were born blind.

Isn't there Palestinian Jews? The people of Israel just took over the Palestinian land and thew them out. There needs to be peace, but Israel should make the sacrifices. All this happened because after WWII they needed a place to put the German Jews somewhere.

When the Muslims controlled the land there wasnt any place for the Christians either. We couldnt go to Golgotha, Bethlehem, the road Jesus traveled on, or Megido.
But now that the Jews control it there terrorism.
When the crusaders controlled it there was widespread war.
If we learn something is that this land will never be pacified until Jesus returns.
God Bless You.
