I would say have one on the pastoral team. Use music that belongs to the year 2007 and not to the year 1600. Get involved in the community. Don't be just theoretical, but live out your faith. The 20 somethings want to see faith lived out. They are not looking for logical arguments (as you can well see on YA!) They are looking for something they can see.
I know of a number of churches that have mostly 20 somethings.

Pastor Mark Driscoll in Seattle started Mars Hill Church in which half of his congregation are 20-somethings. He has at least a couple thousand attending. He seems to be doing something right. He targets his church to the young males. Have a listen to him sometime. He also has a podcast.

I would check out churches that are successful and are attracting a lot of young people. what are they offering? what are they doing, etc.?
This is not to say that everything they are doing your church should do or could do, but it would give you an awareness of what is going on in the christian world and maybe ignite some ideas....
One thing is for sure: You have got to beware of the seven last words of a church: "We've never done it that way before!"
god bless

New people tend to come to their local church's to see what the local community is like. They only tend to visit once. Church tends to be slow and youngsters get togeather in a church if they think they will get immediate gain from it. Many people meet their ideal partners at their local church. Young people think church would be better if it was faster,

Perhaps if you didn't try to center you philosphy around virbal abuse (Telling people they are horrible, worthless) just to get followers you may have better luck.
Or perhaps if you could explain how the God if the bible kills innocent children for no reason other then he can!
Or perhaps if you could explain how the you don't have to be responcibile for what you do just say Jesus forgive me and POOF all is better! How does that help a child abused by a parent for the parent to think a God forgave them just because they mouthed magic words!
Oh yes and best of all PROVE THERE IS A GOD!

I'll be 20 in a few months. You won't find me ever going to a Christian church ever again - any church for that matter.

Honestly,
Let them come to you. Preach what you believe and forget stupid little gimmics.
At the end of the day all that matters is that you are comfortable with your life. If people want to go to church than that is their decision. If you are saying something they want to hear than they will stay.

Stop hounding them, they need gentle guidance. The world is new, they are curious. God will lead them to where they need to go. Be and example of Christ, not a contradiction.

This question shows how religion is just another product to be marketed, rather than something with any basis in reality.
