If, as I am led to believe the Queen owns all the swans in G.B. Why does my grandson (aged 3) "nick" my bread to feed them. Surley Her Maj. with all Her wealth could afford to buy the odd loaf or two to feed Her own pets/animals, and not rely on Her hard up subjects. Yet again It's one rule for the rich, and one rule for the poor. God save the Queen.

Your grandson's budding criminal tendencies would probably make her Maj proud.
In olden days he would have been a robber baron, and ended up with a knighthood!
That's how all the aristocracy got their wealth originally - nicking it from us commoners (if you go far enough back in time).

We live in Brighton. Trust me, this place is full of Queens, and none of the ones I know eat swans. A lot of them feed cocks to each other, but not swans.

Swans do not need feeding they can look after themselves. And you would not like them when they are angry, be carefull.

Not sure your question, but:
Swans should not be fed bread. There is not nutrients in it and it will bloat their stomachs and add fatty deposits to their arteries.
Feed them wild bird seed. They love it.
