I asked this same question one time, aren't the answers interesting? My answer is No! It is about what I will do with the life Jesus has given me & how I will use it to glorify Him until He takes me up to Heaven. See you there! :)

Not in the least bit, though many times I act like it is. As a Catholic Christian though, life should be about God and other people, not me at all. Of course, I should have some down time for myself, like doing hobbies, i.e. playing basketball, watching family guy, stuff like that, but no one ever became a Saint by living constantly for themselves. So it becomes a long and sometimes hard road but one that is always worth it.
Pax Vobiscum.

Frankly, yes. No one else matters in the slightest. None of YOU care about starving children in Africa enough to turn off your computer and donate the money saved to charity.

By no means. I have many people who rely on me for their support, both financial and emotional, as I rely upon them. It's not about me, it's about us. As a member of a family, I cannot just think about myself when I make decisions; I must think about the effects it will have on my loved ones. As a member of society, I cannot just think about myself; I must weigh my needs and wants against those of others.

No life is about surviving at any cost...it's a hard instinct to over come.

Whose life? Mine is. Not yours. Not anyone else's.

Religious people do - they think the whole UNIVERSE was made for human beings.

No I would be much further ahead if it was all about me. First Christ, others then myself.

No. If it were people would probably actually care about my needs more...
