I have yet to purchase a UFC LIVE PPV... This will all change come MARCH 3rd.. As Randy "The Natural" Couture comes out of retirement to claim what he says is still his... The UFC HEAVYWEIGHT BELT.. To do this though.. He must beat the gigantic Tim "The Maine-iac" Sylvia! I think this is going to be a match for all to remember.. Maybe one of the best ever... It definately will be Randys tallest task to date!!

finally!!! somebody who's clever! it incredibly is what i've got been saying. Randy is a super guy and that i'm additionally a fan yet he hasn't even fought at heavyweight because of the fact the top of 2002. Why the hell could he get a call shot? only because of the fact he's Randy Couture??? that is bbullshit! I heard Brandon Vera has settlement "issues" and has no longer renewed his settlement with the UFC as of yet. Brandon Vera merits a call shot and that i know he would take it from Tim "Zzzzz" Sylvia. look into my 360 blog, the link is in my profile.

My dime is on Randy. A much better grappler than Sylvia is, and more than knowledgable on how to take the big man down. Once on the mat, Randy should dominate.
Of course I see in the future one of these guys meeting up with CroCop. I think I'd rather see CroCop kicking Sylvia in the head than Randy. If CroCop gets a title shot later this year, he'll be the new heavyweight champion, no matter WHO he fights. Let's face it. Leg kicks TO THE HEAD hurt like Hell. Not to mention they have a tendency to send people into "lalaland".
But on March 3rd...I'm pulling for Randy.
Go get 'em!

I say Sylvia is going down hard. Bluto, I have met randy, and seen his cars and both gyms... and I can tell you the man doesn't need money. If he did, he would just re-up for good, which I don't see happening. All in all I see this being a classic Sylvia fight. The big fat moron will slap his opponent a few times and run away trying to wait for the bell to save his belt. If randy can get ahold of one arm... or leg.... or anything.... and get that big idiot to the ground.... FINALLY there will be someone deserving of that belt! because Sylvia ladies and gents..... is a joke.... they protect him just like they did Matt Hughes until GSP came in and rocked his face.

randy couturse one is not broke he conmes back cause he loves it and i think randy wins last few giths tim sylvia has had some problems fisnishing the fight he is big ang strong but you have to finish especially wiht the likes of couture

Randy will be the winner of the fight (and some more endorsements). Yes, this will be a good fight. I'm glad the live event is close enough where I can go and watch in person.

IDK, Tim Sylvia is a big HEAVY dude. Randy Couture has to clinch and pound, or take it down to the mat.
Even if Tim goes to the ground, that's no guarantee.. Monson couldn't finish.
I think the bigger mistake either fighter could do is underestimate their opponent. To people that say Tim is an unskilled brawler, I wish you would step in the cage with him, I love brutal KOs.

I'm sick of old guys coming out of retirement just because they mismanaged thier money and are now broke.
As much as my heart strings tug at the "old timer" who brought a lot to the UFC, my mind says that silvia will destroy him.
Unless of course he can bring body armor and a shield into the match and use it like the comic character he was nammed after.
But then again- I would root for someone that came out in a barney suit and want them to win just because that is funny as hell.

Tim is big tall comfortable at the ground and also have the good balance.Being a tall wouldnt be big reach advantage unless he has powerful strikes.Let us wait the time crocop comes to face him.
