i have a bunch of short clips from movies, and tv shows, and i want to make it all one video, and add music and transitions. I plan to post this on youtube. I have been trying with many different online softwheres. PLease help me.

I've only used it once but Windows Movie Maker seems to work really well for situations like this. It should be included (free) on your comptuer if you've got Windows XP installed. You can also download it for free here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

Import all of the video clips and then you can merge them to make one video. I believe you can do all the transition and sound stuff too. Good luck

tmpgenc may be the easiest ... u need to get them all in the same format like mpeg1 ... then u can attach them together ... theres several ways to do it it really depends on what file types u start with ...
