How does your OBGYN think about it? I suppose it is satisfactory that you wish to have to have a child. However except being at retirement age while their a teen; there is different things to suppose about. For one, your eggs are a few decades older than most other first-time moms; as is your uterus. This places your little one at a higher chance for chromosomal abnormalities, congenital defects, placenta previa (where the placenta covers the cervix), and a whopping 50% risk of miscarriage. In addition to that, each medical situation a mom has when she gets pregnant poses a hazard to the fetus. A woman of your age is extra more likely to have extra scientific issues than a younger girl; stastically speaking, anyway. Things like diabetes, high blood pressure, and different power illnesses. You have got bought step one out of the best way--you and your husband finding out to give it a go. Next step is to time table a chat together with your healthcare supplier. S/he'll understand your scientific history and help you weigh the dangers and advantages of being pregnant with you and your husband. Unless then, do as a lot research as that you can online (or textbooks) so you recognize what inquiries to ask your surgeon for the duration of your consult with. Both approach; good good fortune and i hope everything goes well :c)

You may fall pregnant relatively easily but I would advise that you get some health checks first as it may save you from some heartbreak. For example, I'd get some basic tests done to see if you're pre-menopausal as this will affect your chances (obviously) but you could also have the quality of your eggs checked as their quality declines as you get older. You really have to consider not just the likelyhood of pregnancy but also if you'll have a healthy baby (or if you could cope if you didn't) and also the risk of having a baby die at any stage of a pregnancy is quite high too.
Good luck if it's something you really want but unfortunately for us girls age can bring many fertility and pregnancy problems and not just the ability to conceive.

How does your OBGYN sense approximately it? i think of that's great which you fairly decide to have a baby. yet with the exception of being at retirement age mutually as their an adolescent; there is different issues to think of roughly. For one, your eggs are some many years older than maximum different first-time mothers; as is your uterus. This places your toddler at a greater danger for chromosomal abnormalities, congenital defects, placenta previa (the place the placenta covers the cervix), and a whopping 50% hazard of miscarriage. as nicely to that, each scientific difficulty a mom has while she gets pregnant poses a huge gamble to the fetus. a girl of your age is greater possibly to have greater scientific issues than a youthful lady; stastically talking, besides. issues like diabetes, severe blood tension, and different continual illnesses. you have have been given the 1st step out of how--you and your husband finding out to grant it a bypass. next step is to schedule a communicate with your healthcare service. S/he will understand your scientific historic previous and help you weigh the negative aspects and advantages of being pregnant with you and your husband. till then, do as plenty analyze as you are able to on line (or textbooks) so which you recognize what questions to ask your well-being practitioner for the duration of your bypass to. the two way; stable success and that i'm hoping each thing is going nicely :c)

You WILL get pregnant. My girlfriend is 46 with several health problems and we thought it was impossible for her to get pregnant. But we just found out. We are stunned and not too happy about it because we were not trying to conceive. Quite the contrary.

unlikely but still possible. Have you gone through menopause? talk to your doctor, I remember a famous story on the news of a lady who got pregnant in her 70's! It's around 40 you begin to loose your chances of having a baby and experiencing menopause but sometimes it happens a little later for some women

Not easy but not impossible. If you don't want to get pregnant with the added risk of foetal abnormalities at your age then use contraception.
Women in their 40's in new relationships have unwanted pregnancy rates second only to teenagers.
