it's so hot, i almost couldn't hold it. The tape is not melted or anything... WTH is that all about?

I have taken the atteries out....but, can I still use it? Or should I go get another?

just try other batteries. i will take a while if it heats up so just trying and see if it works.

i would recommend that u just buy a new one because with it becoming hot it may not be safe to use any more u can get an all in one for like 10.00 most places and u can use it for everything dvd tv vhs whatever u have hooked up to ur tv but i think it might have taken its last leg and given out on u...

Try new batteries...If it still gets hot...buy a new one.
