of course. it's rare, but it's out there. before i was married, i had a friend with benefits. she was never my girlfriend, and we never had feelings for each other...we just got together and fooled around everytime one (or both) of us were in the mood. we were always available to one another, sometimes even when we were involved with someone else. it was a wonderful relationship. we're both happily married now, and still friends. we still talk about the "good ol' days".

Yes, there is such a thing. Love can happen in this situation but don't count on it or hope for it.

friends with benefits means that the two of you love each other but only as friends. this means that there is no strings attached just because the two of you are having sex. a one night stand would be something that is a no love relationship or a booty call relationship.

it means no commitment, there can be love between friends with benefits but situations like that usually end in shambles, deeper feelings begin to develop with one of the two, and then it is hell from then on out

well, it means love.. it just means.. friendly love, not *sigh* 'I love you honey' love.
Works for people who just don't want to get involved, and it's somewhat convenient.
