I have gone from black to blonde over the past 4 years, over and over. Usually, I can use Shiny Silver shampoo to get rid of the brassy color after bleaching it. But, this time, it's been harder to get it out. I am wondering if I should use a bleachless color stripper or if I should just keep using the shampoo and see if it does anything. I don't want to bleach it again, yet. And the stripper I have contains no bleach, so I figured it wouldnt hurt. Do you think it would get rid of the brassiness, or make it worse?

***My hair is not dry or damaged. I take good care of it. It is moisutrized and I am not worried about it falling out or breaking.

Eventually your hair is going to fall out. But I would try the shampoo before i bleach it again, even if it contains no bleach there are some harsh chemicals in there.

uhh i think you should visit a salon.. all the color stripper is going to do is strip the toner you've put in your hair already.. I think that if your going to try anything you should use a shampoo OR do a bleach soap cap, which is half shampoo and half lightening mixture and 20 volume... cuz im guessing most of your orange is on the midshaft to the ends..thats where you should focus the shampoo mix.. if that doesnt work you really need to see a professional

the silver shine shampoo should work, if nto i suggest going to a professional to get a demipermanent color put on your hair the same level as your hair. this is rid you of brassiness, but after you need to continue to use your shampoo. you also might want to check your water. has there been a recent change, or do you use well water? if so, these cause blondes to be brassy or greenish.

try dying it a darker shade of brown without the reddish color in the brown. Try a simple shade like a tree-bark color.

personally I would go seek a salon professionals advice before doing any more to your hair.
