I printed a shipping label and paid for postage online. Do I just hand the box w/ the pre-paid label to the USPS counter people or is there some drop off container in which I can just leave it?

I estimated the weight of my package to be 3 pounds, but it may be more...

Thanks for the help

More than 16 ounces and you need to hand it to them over the counter OR call and have it picked up.

in some post offices there is a big cylinder thing where you can
drop off premeter packages,
or you can also go online to http:.//www usps.com
and request your letter carrier to pick up your package(s)
