Precisely. Christianity is, in my opinion, highly immoral, because it touts non-responsibility. Anything they do is okay because they are 'saved'. They can quote Bible passages to support any brand of hate, bigotry, oppression, discrimination, and violence.
And who is it they are saved from? Their own Creator, who is not held responsible for creating hell, his mode of judgement, or setting up the rules that people have to choose by, not to mention the blatant entrapment of Adam and Eve. God is perfect, no matter how cruel or wrong he is.
This is in fact worship of power, not worship of love as it claims. It is fear-based masquerading as love-based, using every manner of emotional manipulation it can: fear, guilt, pride disguised as humility, you name it. It's absolutely insidious.

Well then... doesn't that mean "god" must be something different. I don't think "god" has ever been a "Parent"...When you look at religion historically, and not spiritually; it's sad to say most of what the bible is about isn't to teach us of gods laws. It's about politics.
The Roman Emperor Constantine saw the rising power in the burgeoning Christan church. He called together the highest leaders of the young church and worked out a deal. You see the church allied it's self with Rome, and the bible is a product of that alliance. Even the story (especially) of Jesus was a tool to appease and control the vast roman empire. A kind of way to ease the remaining pagan Romans into the new religion. Why do you think we have so many roman holidays as "Christan" holidays.
Now is time to ask yourself, will you continue to be controlled by an empire that has long sense buried itself within history.

You are free to believe whatever you care to believe. The bible, the talmud, the koran, the avesta, or any of the other books written by superstitious people who were uneducated, but had very active minds full of wild ideas.
Common sense will tell you that just because something was written a couple of thousand years ago does not mean it should be believed over what modern science has worked out in all of those years.

Well since you are assuming a literal interpretation of scripture which I find misguided, and poking wholes in that, I see no point in trying to answer.
Basically it would be as if you read a poem in which the writer described a buttermilk sunrise and you gave a question based on the premise that the sky was actually made of buttermilk. This is the absurdity that comes from not being acquainted with symbols and imagery used in writing.

So many point at God and blame him for this and that. But so many forget.....that to have good, you have to have evil. Ying and Yang. So if God is good.....who is bad? Lucifer, Satan, the Devil.
He is who is responsible for the bad weather, accidents, violence, hatred, racism, all of it.
God does not live on earth and he put man on earth with "free will". We can do as we choose, to follow him or not.
But Lucifer was cast down to earth, as punishment, and he's mad. He rules over the earth and all those that don't listen to Jesus. Hence all the bad things going on around us.
God gave us life....Lucifer hates us cause we are Gods children...and would do anything to kill us. But he can't...so instead he torments us and when we die if we had followed him...then he can torment us for eternity. That is his revenge on God for being kicked out of heaven.
Edit: he wiped out the first generation, those prior to Noah, cause not only man, but animal and plant were evil as well. God was ashamed at what he created. Plus the fallen angels took up wives with human females, creating children called the Nemphilm. These were giant humans, great strength, etc. As there were angels and man, combined.
We see evidence of them all over. From David and Goliath. To the ancient pryamids...they are the ones that build them as they can lift those stones like we lift bricks. We have multiple skeletons of them that we have unearthed since 1908. They are shown in multiple ancient egypts text and writings as well.
God destroyed it all cause it was bad, evil, not right. But Noah was pure, his blood line had not been tainted. That is why God spared him.
God will destroy it all again, he tells us so. He even warns us....in the end days, you know the time will be near when the days of Noah are again.
Well if you really dig into the Bible and it all...you can see how what we call UFO's can be put into most of it. Fallen angels, coming down, floating on the clouds, destroying a mountain, parting a sea....all items that we can relate to as a UFO item. Well we know UFO's are taking people and doing reproductive items to them.
Exactly like the fallen angels had to wives prior to Noah. Soon you will see a mixed race apear on earth, they will be the Nephlim. They will be hard to see this time as they will look very similar to us this time around. It will take a wise man to see who they truely are.
