My wife and her mate are taking all the kids to Disney Paris for the weekend on the Eurostar and the ticket says 20kg max per person luggage allowance. As they are only going for the weekend, she has got all the luggage (her and our 2 kids) in one large case which weighs 23kg. She doesn't want to take 2 cases but she is worried that the single case weight will be too much and she may be turned away at the check-in. Can anyone advise??

Baggage
Eurostar loves your luggage they want to take care of your luggage and in their experience; the best person to do that is you. And in most cases, that’s exactly what will happen. This means that when you travel with them, you don’t need to check it in - just take it straight onto the train. Unless you have more than two big bags or you happen to be a cellist (see below).
Registered Luggage for large items or people with more than two bags
If you have more than two items of luggage (as well as your hand luggage) or if you’re travelling with bicycles, sporting weapons or large musical instruments (a cello, for example), you should use the registered baggage service.
The service operates between London, Paris, Brussels and Lille Eurostar terminals and whatever you register will be ready for collection within twenty-four hours of registering it.
For anything that isn’t clear about registering your luggage, feel free to call Eurostar on 08705 850 850 for further details.
Charges and conditions
Items Charges / Conditions
