I have a 6 month old daughter and today looked after my friends 3 month old and almost 3 year old son.
First the 3 month old screamed, then my daughter and then the oldest started screaming because he wanted more juice!

Because misery loves company, hahahaha! I know what you mean though. I have a day care in my home and if one starts they all start. It's hard with babies, but I tell the older ones that they have to ask nicely if they want or need something and then I don't give in when they start fussing. But with babies I think it's a loud noise they hear and they either don't like it and start crying or they are trying to imitate the sound. Attention competition plays a big role as well. Take care.

The first one started to cry because wet or hungry which scared the 6 month old and the 3 year old just didn't want to be out done and figured he could get a drink out of it..

It is a conspiracy to see who will win your attention first. Really the 3 month old had needs yours sympathized with the first and the 3 year old want in on the act too.

babies cry cuz they are babies. kids do cuz no one tells them to not cry over stupid things. i have two now grown kids. it appears to me that young parents have a problem teaching kids ANYTHING and saying the word NO>

and now, employers no longer want to hire these same indulged young kids. they feel they are being spolied and will not work.

it is giving me job security!
