Talking on AIM is a lot different than talking in person. On AIM he can be more open and say whatever he wants to you because there is less pressure. I'm sure he just feels nervous around you in person because you haven't talked as much face to face. There is less at stake when he talked to that other girl because he doesn't like her like he likes you. If you want to talk to him more in person you can either be patient, and wait for him to approach you, or go talk to him first.

This doesn't sound good to me. He is , at the very least, being inconsiderate Would you accept this behavior from a female friend? I don't think so. Then it also unacceptable from a guy friend. I can't imagine anyone behaving so rudely and for wha apparent reason. Sounds a lot like mind games to me, or is he just too big for his britches, as grandma used to say? Please just take a big breath of relief, and move on .

He may be intimidated by you so approach him with a friend. Or play it cool and ask a friend to ask him whats the deal, say you are chatting with someone else but you are really interested and would much rather give him a chance. You're not doing anything wrong. Go up to him and confront him about it, if you're uncomfortable, talk to him on aim. If he won't respond, he's a d!ck. Good luck.
