You're old enough to start showing a little grey now, my hair was chestnut too and I noticed the redder hairs went white first. As a lot of redheads I know went grey very young I think maybe the red ones don't have the same staying power.
If you want to hide it discretely use a brownish red TEMPORARY hair colour, it will blend the white in well but won't show any roots in a different colour as it just washes out over the next month. I know a few people male and female that this works for.

It happens...sadly. I have black hair and am only 25, but I have noticeably a lot of white hair already. It can be due to stress, but I think it's largely to do with your genetics, and life style, like if you drink, smoke, have irregular sleeping pattern etc.
I have a friend who has been dying her hair since when she was 14, because she has so many white hair. She told me that her mum has the same problem.

I don't think stress causes grey hair - it's just an old wives tale.
I'm 26 and have a couple of grey/white hairs - it shows up more when your hair is dark. Its not unusual to get a few at this age - I just yank them out!

People start to go grey at all sorts of different ages - even as young as you are. Don't worry - your hairdresser can help if you want with great semi permanent colour which looks totally natural - no one will know! P.S. don't pull out the white hairs - it doesn't do any good - I know, I tried!

grey hair doesn't mean you're getting old
its a sign of aging when you're old....but 27 is not 70
stress can cause grey hairs

im 20 yrs old and i had a handfull of white hairs growing on the back of my head. I tried different kinds of shampoo and conditioners..the best thing you can do is shave your head completely and hope for the best. It worked for me!

Because we are used to seeing it every day. Look in a photo last year, it will be shorter.
