i put my hair gel on in the morning and by 2nd period it's all dried out and looks like dandruff. why does tht happen? how do i get it to stay and if i cant is there any substitutes i can use?

its probably b/c you mess w/ ur hair too much! try not messing with it after you put it on in the morning and if it still happens use sum thing else like "spike it up" thats what its called! haha its new i think. my brother uses it it doesn't get like that!

it's like that with me too. hair has to be clean and washed before putting gel on. maybe you put too little gel on. The dandruff is dust particles in the air. put water once in a while on it and sometimes you may notice dust but others won't, depending on the condition. bottom line, when you wear gel,m you will always see a few white particles sticking on it and it's normal. carry water spray bottle.

There is a hair product called JOICO Ice Hair Spiker water resistant hair glue. Its a bright blue gel container with SPIKER on it in large letters. They sell it at any beauty supply store. My son uses it and it really works, believe me, I've bought all the other stuff too.

You should try a product called Molding Wax from FX Special Effects. Its the absolute best! You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart, etc. You'll love it!
