I highly doubt it will hurt her at this point. As long as it's not obstructing her throat - and you say she's breathing fine - her stomach should begin to digest it. I would just watch to be sure she's going to the bathroom ok - because it's still possible for her to somehow pass it into her inestines, and obstruct her bowels. Then you WOULD have trouble. Don't worry yourself too much, though, dogs consume a LOT of wacky things, and live to "tell". ;P

How big was the chunk (total, even if it was in pieces)? Also what kind of material is the bone made of? If it is rawhide it probably won't be as big of a deal. If it is plastic/nylabone or an actual bone (chicken bone, etc.), it may be a bigger problem based on exactly how big the piece was. I know that the plastic ones say on the packaging that they are not really supposed to swallow any pieces. Also, real bones can splinter and cause lacerations. Monitor your dog for the next 24 hours and if she starts acting strange, salivating a lot, throwing up, or having odd bowel movements, you may want to take her to a vet.

Bird bones splinter and may puncture the dogs throught or other. This is why we shouldnt feed a dog bird bones.
Otherwise I dont see a problem.
IF the dog is gagging and having trouble breathing a vet may be nesassary.
If the dog seems fine I wouldnt think twice about it.
My opinion

i might want to be stressful about an obstruction if I were you. If he's not defecating oftentimes, and highly if he's vomitting and by no potential defecating, i might want to be stressful. i trust if his abdomen feels difficult or he shows soreness once you contact his abdomen, it might want to factor out an obstruction as well. i might want to seem up different different indications as well on the web to be chance-free if I were you.

This is why you do NOT give dogs bones. They can splinter and lodge in the throat, stomach or intestinal tract and it is inoperable.
So...stop that!
