I am a wood floor installer and I'll briefly explain my one and only experience through LL. I had purchased 1000sf of Bella Wood (Bob Vila's is the spokesman) for a costumer. I would say about 20% of the product was dented or dinged up right out of the box. Then after installing about three rows of it we determined it to be defective (seams not flush) and my costumer wanted a refund. We tried to take the product back for a refund and they informed us that they only give an in store credit which I thought to be ridiculous because it was defective. On top of this whole mess any boxes that were even ripped a little bit, they would not include in the credit. Last of all I asked the warehouse guy what he was going to do with the wood and he replied "What else, put it back on the shelf to resell!" in a cocky tone of voice like it was my fault their product is crap. I would personally stay with a reputable flooring store and have it installed professionally, you pay more, but you will avoid many headaches.

I am not specifically sure about L,L Bamboo. But I will tell you when it comes to Bamboo make sure it is in the 6' / 72" long boards. When manufactures make Bamboo flooring they take the bottom 6' of the chute and make premium floor with it.... the bottom of the chute is the oldest and hardest part. Everything above that they cut into 3' / 36" lengths. Most if not all of the wood floors you buy today are coming from eco-managed forests. Ones that are allowed to grow 20-30 yrs...That being said because Bamboo matures at 5 yrs of age instead of 35-50 yrs for Oak, most of the Bamboo you buy (if Premium) will be denser than your standard builder grade Oak floor. You can still buy Old growth Oak floors that will way out preform Bamboo, but are very costly. So all that being said Bamboo is a great floor if bought properly. Do your homework and ask them where they buy their Bamboo from.. Obviously Lumber Liquidators does'nt grow and manufacture themselves, so get more info on who they buy from...Good luck

Hello. They are very reputable. I have bought over 5000 square feet from them and have been very pleased with all of it. The extreme home makeover show on ABC uses them for their supplier. They also have the best prices I have ever found. Good luck and buy with confidence.

They sell the warped boards that people pass over at Home Depot. Great stuff if you're building a curved wall...
