when I got my tattoos, they gave me some care tips, and one of them was not to soak it... so you should hold off on swimming for 2 weeks after you get the tattoo. This is just to let it heal properly and prevent discoloration.

Can't swim yet...I would hold off getting the tattoo until after your party if you're planning on swimming at your party. The tattoo needs to be fully healed before you can swim or take baths...

the following is sturdy nutrition for concept. Swimming might want to no longer be risky to tattoo itself. i know at the same time as i bypass swimming, afterwards my pores and skin is dry and itchy. it truly is no longer something you opt for happening with a sparkling tattoo. also once you sunburn over the tattoo, you would possibly want to not use Aloe Vera because of its deep moisturizing characteristic. i can probable suck the ink out, and also you sat through the couple hour bee sting once, do not opt for to do it two times for a similar tattoo. So i might want to attend until eventually the scab falls off thoroughly before swimming. searching on the tattoo, that takes about 2 weeks or so. a huge significant ingredient with that. allow the scab fall off on its own. do not %. it off, or you'll finally end up with scars from the scab on your tattoo, that could make the tattoo seem undesirable. thanks for interpreting my lengthy answer. :)

You are not supposed to soak your new tattoo in any way for a couple of weeks. This means no baths, no swimming, etc. The skin needs to heal...

I was told that you should wait at least 8 weeks so that it could have time to heal. I also think that the chlorine could fade the tat but I am not too sure. Anyways give it time to heal before you go swimming.

Talk this over with the artist.
Hypochlorite is in pools.
Any type of chlorine is not
what you want on a new tattoo.
Give it a chance to heal, really
well, before taking up any of
your usual outdoor activities.

I don't think there is any problem so long as the pool is clean and you are properly taking care of the tattoo.
I would be more concerned about 'bleaching' the tattoo by having it in the sun when it is so new.
