I have my labret pierced and I get compliments from people you would never expect. Old people - young people - teachers, parents, bosses ... etc ... it's small & doesn't look crazy - one little stud under my lip. I get a lot of " Did that Hurt " from people ... but never has anyone said it looks horrible or makes me look like a prostitute - everyone has their own opinion on piercing - it's just a piece of jewelry - you can take it out when you want & still make a statement about who you are and what you like.

A lot of my girlfriends have the on the side and under the lip piercing and they actually look really hott. They're into that punk look and it looks cute on them. Guys I dont think it looks as good.

I'm a girl & I don't personally care for lip piercings. The only ones I like are navel, nipple & nose. I just think it looks kinda gross to have your lip pierced...like it's gonna bleed or get ripped off somehow. Just my opinion.

I think they look nice, but it depends on the size of the ring. on the shape of the lip and on the complexion. and if you are a teen, tah's pretty ok, but as you grow up people expect you to look and behave your age and be responsible...and punching a whole in your lip is not that responsible, trust me i know. i'm 22& pierced my eybrow 2 months ago.

Any piercings on your FACE won't make it look any nicer. Those are just for people of a certain age. When you grow up, they'll look ridiculous. I think it lowers your self-esteem. Even though I'm just 15. But none for me, ever.

You can look cool with a lip Piercing....
but not everyone can get a job.
