I've seen some like that on world's funniest animals , it is rather funny and amusing , perhaps a bit rare if they often make such a noise . Perhaps you should take a video of the cat and sent a copy in to the show they may find it amusing enough to air and send you a hundred bucks and a t- shirt . If it starts speaking in Latin or something though or rising up in the air with it's head turning completely around I'd recommend running out of the house though , lol .

Cats "talking" is perfectly normal. They can learn to mimic human words. My three cats have learned a variety of words that include: mom, dad, chow, hello, i love you, no, out, and a few others that would not be polite to put on here (lets just say if they get mad they can curse up a storm, part in thanks to me cursing around them). So no need to worry about your cat, I would actually encourage them to talk, you will eventually get to where the cat will tell you exactly what they want.

no..... i have an cat that when u tell it to get off ur car its sounds like its saying no but when u say yes it keeps meowing no so no i dont think its weird at all.... but it sometimes scares me cause i can be outside at night like real late and it meows no or hello or sometimes even it sounds like its saying my name so it all depends on how u take it upon ur self.........

Yes my cat says mama! I swear im not crazy he meows it perfectly! Always gets him bonus points when he does it too and he knows it!

lmao no it's not weird. I have a cat that talks to her toys when she is playing. Well, she pretty much tells them off, actually. It's hilarious. Enjoy it.

its not wierd alot of animals can make noises that sound like words. I have seen alot of people go to animal talent comatitions and have shown it off. Anyway its normal.
