hey i am 14 years old and i am 5' 2" and i weigh 43kg/94lbs/just under 7 stones. i am a size 6 or the smallest size the shop has. ok well i am happy with my height/weight, not really bothered to be honest.

i think it is weird how most of my friends weigh a lot more than me and yet they have a flat belly but i dont (mine isn't huge, but just not flat) theire fat is more on the sides, it goes sideways and not forwards in the belly/waist area if you know what i mean.

i want to have a flat stomach, but how? i do 50 sit-ups a day and have a good diet. how long will it take me to get a flat belly? and what should i do? i dont really want to loose weight and i DONT want to look like a body-builder i just want a totally flat stomach.

THANKS.. XX

I wish this was all I had to worry about, try jogging- you are young you should not worry about these things, some young men like women with a little tummy.I am sure you are bonnie looking, life is too short to worry over your tummy. x

You are still growing and changing and you shouldn't worry too much about it. Everyone's body is a little different, and your body will chnage even more as you continue to grow.

One thing you could try is to take pilates classes. It is good exercise that will strengthen your core muscles, much better than sit-ups, it is good for your back and yoru posture and it tends to give you a flatter belly. And there's no harm in doing it at your age.

I know exactly what you mean same thing happens to me in my case hereditary I founs something that works (believe it or not it will onlt flatten by one inch but its an inch its called FLAT ABS by Yves Rocher - yvesrocher.com or .ca in Canada. You dont need an account to order and they will ship it to you and you only pay em after you get the product. If the product doesnt work send the empty container back instead of money if it works pay for it

First off good job! It is important that you are eating, gaining weight and cutting is a very long and tedious process. You should definitely be eating lean protein, (fish, chicken, eggs, protein shakes) and make sure you are also getting enough carbs (pastas etc.) Continue working on your abs though otherwise it will turn into fat quickly. Hope this helps.

you're too hung up on getting your body into shape a shape that it wasn't meant to be. bellies are supposed to be round and wiggly like jelly.

you're only 14 and shouldn't worry about it - you're still growing and most likely will 'thin' out when you reach 17 - 18... just keep your diet healthy and exercise but don't obsess!!!!

you can do 1000 stiups and get no where, you have to run or do some cardio workout, everyone has a sixpack but the fat just covers it up so try running occassionaly
