Only if ghosts cooked it.
Otherwise, I would say it was merely a pleasant, wonderful, even transcendent experience... but not spiritual.

I've been to several excellent restarunts in which anything spiritual was far from present, however the food was very well prepared and quite delectable. I take satisfaction in preparing a meal from scratch, especially when it actually tastes as good as the recipie book makes it sound. I like being able to take saitisfaction in my own work. It's like having your cake and eating it too. But as far as a spiritual experience, I'd say no.

Emphatically yes, as is whatever you do excellently, be it preparing the meal, eating it, reading, love-making or playing football. Any positive thing you do with love or to the best of your ability brings you closer to God.
One common mistake is when we assume that only certain actions (like going to church, praying, preaching, etc) are spiritual. However, since our whole sojourn on earth is a spiritual quest, it follows that everything we do has spiritual significance.

It sure is, if prepared for religious purposes. Besides, bad-prepared meals may cause serious health problems, (and if it is bad enough, the eater will find out if there is really "life after death").

I suppose for someone who found it to be such a wonderful meal that it felt overwhelming in some way or form that it precipitated a powerful feeling of unity with the universe, it might be considered so.

If you eat it with gratitude for those who prepared it and mindfulness of all the sentient beings (human and animal) that sacrificed in some way to get the ingredients to your table all the way back to growing it and so on...
