its in a line with the bottom of my ear. It doesn't hurt. Is it just a gland

It is a swollen gland. Could be caused by many things - my wife had one recently. She went to the doctor - they said it was cat scratch fever - yeah that's a real thing - cause by a cat scratch on the scalp. Anyway it could be caused by many things. If you go to the doctor, they may prescribe antibiotics. If it doesn;t hurt, you can skip the doctor (IMHO), unless it starts to get worse.

Probably just a blocked sebaceous duct or a swollen lymphatic gland but to be on the safe side you should really get it checked out.
Before you go to the GP check yourself all over for any other suspicious lumps and bumps breasts (even if you are a bloke) armpits, groin, testicles.

It's likely to be just a gland, but I'd get it checked out by your GP. It's the best way to put your mind at rest & it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, it definitely sounds like a gland. Don't fidget with it or you will only make it worst!! Just leave it, it does not need any treatment or pills or anything. Just don't touch it the whole time or put any pressure on it, it will go away by itself.

It does sound like a gland from the brief description you have given. It is worth making an appointment with your GP to double check but I think you are probably right.

it probibly is just a swollen gland if it hasent went down in a week or so go to the doctors to get it checked

It sounds like an inflamed lymph node. I would go to the doctor. It is usually just from a small infection, but sometimes it is due to cancer. You shouldn't freak out or anything, but you should get it checked out.

yes its sounds like you're glands has swollen if it gets sore go to you're doctor for pain killers and get a general check up

I got one of these when I woke up this morning!...it's been bugging me all day. I think I've had it before and it's just a knot in the muscle from sleeping wierd....hope so any way.
