I'm curious cause sometimes I get these sharp toe nails (corner's usually) out of the blue and they bug me and if I'm allowed to bring one with me I'm able to clip them off without trying to pry them off with a pen or other things plus bleeding and etc. Is there a site that I can find out what I can bring and not bring on board?

I do clip my toe nails before going anywhere, but sometimes I get those sharp toe nails (corners usually) and they bug me. If I'm traveling by car I could wait until the next rest stops, but was curious by traveling by air.

I think nail clippers are OK if they don't have a "blade" on the top", but remember that each security agent interprets the rules so it could vary airport to airport. Take an emery board, that should help.

Here's the US Transportation Security Administration's website with their list of permitted and prohibited items: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm

Honestly Im not sure but as a good rule of thumb Id recommend that you dont try it. You could be held up bby airport security for a while and this day in age almost anything is considered a weapon on a plane.

My best advice......leave the nail clippers at home. For the .99 cents it costs to buy new ones I do just that. Pick up a new set when you reach your destination.

many times, all own issues are allowed different than risky products, which contain sharp products. in the Philippines, i know that even liquid are actually not allowed to deliver once you fly because of the fact it must be a hiding ingredient of explosive products! Have a delightful holiday!
