I want to ask this guy if he likes me, but i need some confidence, please tell me some of your embarrassing stories, so the awkwardness of having to see him all the time, after finding out he doesn't like me, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...
Cause no matter what he says, i'm still gunna be hanging out with this guy some times...
I'm soooo scared.

That's funny, because I was just talking to a co-worker about this. See he digs this girl that he does some work for, and he flirts, she flirts, but he won't ask her out. Why...who knows. So...I told him...you are wasting time stewing about it. Let's say she says "yes" then you have a date. YEAH!!!!!!!!! let's say she says "no" then crap...you don't have a date. You still have to see her, BUT...now you know! you are not wasting all this time stewing over it.

That's my advice to you...good for you to tell him...and if it is not reciprocated....it sucks, and it stings...BUT you know, and you can move on from that.

I can't give you an embarrassing story...they are too embarassing. :)

Ok, there was a guy I had a major crush on in college for 3 years. We were in a lot of the same classes since we were the same major and we even worked together tutoring other students. So, I was about as obvious as you could be and even asked him out a couple of times - which he always politely said no to. I didn't let it get me down and didn't let it keep both of us from still acting cool around each other.

In high school, there was a guy I had a crush on and one of my friends decided to announce it to the whole school (about 300 people) - and him - one day. After the teasing ended about a week later (because I didn't help fuel it), it was just like it never happened.

To a great extent, the embarassment and awkwardness will depend on how you handle it. If it doesn't go like you hope it will, take it as a learning experience and move on just like it's not big deal. If anyone else teases you, act like it doesn't bother you and it's no big deal.

Kudos to you for willing to take a risk, though.

well, i fell in love with my best friend - that was back in highschool- we had been childhood friends...and we were together for 2 weeks and i was soooo in love with him that i shut up all the time. i said nothing- and believe me i am a very chatty person. it was like i couldn't think and i went like...yes, ok, uhu, mhm, yep, no, maybe...
and...after 2 weeks he came and asked...hmmm...would u mind if i dated cristina? (which was a class mate and friend of mine, not good looking, not even bright)
talk about awkward...
and we didn't talk for over a year but i still went out with the same group of peole he did and acted towards them as if nothing had happened...
