Buddhist meditation has taught me to calm my mind, see reality more clearly and given me better insight into my analytical meditation. I'm much calmer than I used to be, that's for sure.

I have on several occasions, one more clearly than any other, had an experience of what Zen Master Huang Po describes as "One Mind," and what some Christian authors describe as "the presence of God."
In the one, more clear experience, I had the sense of being a part of everything, and that I had transcended the bondage of self. I had a revelation that all we think we know of God is an illusion, and that our religions were only feeble attempts to comprehend the incomprehensible.
