Obviously if that “someone” is just that, a someone, then yes.
It is not recommended to have explicit sex with unknown people, as even with protection you could get sick. But if you must, then always use a condom. And if he doesn’t want to, you can always help him putting it on as part of the foreplay.
Otherwise, use the female condom as an alternate. Having one with you (as well as regular for guys) is a must if you don’t have a steady sex partner. You never know when you could end up having sex and with whom.
Now, if you are with someone and you two don’t have sex with anybody else, and already know both of you are safe and STD free, then the condom becomes optional. If you don’t want to get pregnant, you can use the pills or pills alike (like the patch or the shot) if you don’t want to use condoms.
My wife and I always used condoms until the day she started the pills. We now are about to go back to condoms for a couple of months and then we will be doing it with nothing, as we want to have our first baby soon.

What has happened to sex that it has come down to something so pathetic. Is there no tenderness and scintillating foreplay over weeks and days of simple touching and kissing. If you are in truly love would you not both agree to hold back and not go all the way. Lets face it some of the best sex dose not involve intercourse.
If you are talking animal sex then yes stop and take some precautions

I've been there, and I have to admit that it's hard to stop because you don't really think about it. But afterwards, I really regreted not using a condom. I suggest you stop and put one on. It only takes a minute but if you get pregnant or get an STD then that's for life.

Well yeah, me and my husband use them, and we have a million dif ways of doing it now, i do it sometimes, (I can do it with my mouth, it's hard though and took ages of practice) or if he's ravishing me he will do it, it's just part of the whole thing mow I guess. We want a baby next year, and it's going to be weird not doing it I think. Plus, you know, condoms are a bit less messy, if you know what I mean, saves the sheets, so that's guna be a bit of getting used to again too.

Of course....If this is someone special in your life and you guys been together for a long time, that's different, but if it's a complete stranger do make him wear a condom at all time. A guy maybe really cute and looks clean but looks can be deceiving. If it's not ur boyfriend or husband, make sure he straps up.

If you are worried about spoiling the mood, or slowing things down, the mood needs to be spoiled, and things need to be slowed way down.
The decision to have sex should have a strong logical component, and shouldn't be spur of the moment, and shouldn't be based on getting someone else caught up in the spur of the moment. (This means you stop and say "Do you want to continue", and if they agree, that's when you gear up)

Helps if you turn that into part of the play, I like to do the "putting it on" for the guy... that way I get to "play with it" some more first! Plus, I know it's on there correctly.

Most definitely, then once you are completely in the mood and ready to go, you dont have to stop and try putting it on then. Be prepared! Make sure you are using one!
