36 and still single so now its time to up the ante. I'm seriously considering speed dating. Have you tried it? Would you recommend any organisations that run such events?

I'm 33 and have been speed dating about 3 times. i had great fun and a good way you get to get rid of the men you don't want to waste time on in just 4 minutes !!! i think as long has you go for fun then that's cool and if you find someone you like then its a bonus. my mate met someone at speed dating and they are now living together, so it does work !!! good luck

I had a great night speed dating with my firends but wouldn't recommend it for actually meeting someone for a relationship its mainly just a giggle

instead of speed you could try something more relaxed! like goin out to a pub etc.
i have never done speed dating and its not my cup of tea, could be wired people there!
i know people who have and their relationship has never lasted very long with the new person!

Tried it, wouldn't recommend it. If you're speed dating you can't completely focus on who you're with at that moment....your mind will wander off to who's next or who was before. I hope that helps...Good luck

go for it at least you can see what your workin with. but it is basicaly the same as seeing a girl during the day you still have to come up with interesting convo. just try talking to a girl in public supermarket etc....

my brother tried it and hated it, i think it depends on what type of personality you are.
i would give you a link to a site that can give you the answer - but, yahoo thought police will consider it a violation and call it spam!!!
