I smoked marajuana about 4 days ago and only took two hits, hadn't smoked in months prior to this. I just recieved a call about a job offer today, any idea what the liklihood that this small ammount would show up on a drug test?

Well if this is going to show up, what would work to get it out ASAP? It's not like I smoke regularly, and it was just a little, so maybe I can dilute it or flush it?

Since none of these other people seem to know much about drug testing, let me educate you on a couple of small matters.
One, pretty good chance it will show up but, not 100%. If the pot from the previous period months ago is out of your system, it could be that this is out or is so little that it won't trigger a positive test.
Second, you have natural occuring substances in your urine such as salt, sugar, protein, amonia and other stuff. If you use one of these "test clean" kits or golden seal, you'll also cover up those substances that should be in your urine too. Labs may not be able to see the masking agent but, they will see that your urine is too clean. It's known as a non-negative test. And it will keep you from getting the job.
Last, as far as reporting it to anyone else, the person that said it's illegal for the potential employer to share that information isn't exactly correct on that. Now, if the drug test is for McDonald's, it's not really in their best interest (legal or not) to tell anyone about your pre-employment test. If you're taking a test for a DOT job (barge line, riverboat captain, airline industry, truck driver, railroad) the test doesn't go directly to the company, it goes to the DOT first off. And yes, I know for a fact that the DOT not only will share it with every company that reports to the DOT, FRA, FHWA, or FAA in the country; they will require those employers to check a national registry to see if you have EVER failed a drug test before they hire you. If you end up on the DOT registry, you are on it for life. Forever, amen.

Very likely, the THC from pot can stay in your system I believe several weeks - next time, just say NO. However, I'd probably go for it anyway b/c even with a pos. drug test, you already think you won't get the job but they cannot tell anyone else or communicate your positive test in any way - that would be against the law since you are not officially an employee. And, maybe you could be lucky and it not show up. You really have nothing to lose at this point.

Listen to the guy above me he knows what he is talking about. If you do not smoke regularly it might not show slim chance. My daughter's bf had to take a drug test and he was scared because he had taken a couple of hits he does not do it all the time. His came back clean!!! His was a week between the time he did it and his drug test. So there is hope!!!! Good luck!!!!

There are some "test passing kits" available out there...I only tell you this because it would seem that your not a "stoner" although I do not agree with its use by any means outside of medicinal.
It is very likely that you will fail the test due to your resent usage.

With that small amount, not sure-however, it could show up-that stuff stays in your body up to 30 days.

unless the jobs for a pot research facility, i think your screwed if they do a drug test. unless they like a couple of stoners around to kind of mellow it out.

yes it will go to your local gnc and ask for any urine masks they have or ask for this pill i took it and it worked its starts with a n.
