Suspicious? Hard to say. Sometimes business meetings go on over weekends. Because people normally work a 40 or more hour week during the week. So it's not uncommon for a business meeting to go on over a weekend. Like I said hard to say. You know him better than we do. A little bit of details about your relationship might of helped to answer your question better.

Some businesses were open on monday. But a 4 day long trip... If it's for business it shouldn't cut into his weekend. If he starts coming home late every night and stops loving you, then start getting suspicious. But it seems you are already there. Try asking him.
