& that's why when I find out the boy likes me back, I stop liking him..

But what can I do to get over this? Because I really can't FORCE myself to like someone.

I used to do that, when I had commitment issues. when i was 16, i met a 20 yr old guy that i knew i definitely wanted to be with, but i was too afraid that i would get hurt. well, once the 'chase' was over and we started talking a lot, i started making up WEIRD excuses about why i couldnt call him, like "i passed out early from taking xanax, sorry ill call you tomorrow though". eventually he would send me a text that would say "CALL ME TONIGHT...PLEASE!" I was afraid of commitment so bad, and all it took for me to snap out of it, was for us to be hanging out and then his cellphone rings and it was his beloved ex. NO, You cant force yourself to like someone, but if something drastic happens where you think you could lose them, your feelings may change like *snap* lol. Its called 'realization'.

Grow up. Unless you are in grade school then I realize you can't do that for a while but otherwise you should be able to overcome such childish tendencies. Everyone likes the chase better than the catch but at some point you risk not being able to catch something that you really want.

Obviously u r a big tease(which everyone can be) - bad things can come with that. Maybe find out if u actually like the person before u start chasing them

You can't force yourself to like someone but you can force yourself not to lead them on. Playing with other people's feelings for fun is really wrong.

Men and women are both like this; it's an immature trait that most people grow out of.

Some don't. Most learn the hard way.
