soak your feet in the tub, or do this when you're in the shower: rub feet with a pumice stone, then afterwards, rub some lotion on your feet (not between toes), and then put on a light pair of socks, to keep the cream from getting everywhere :)

Hello fellow or ladies with calloused feet,

I too have had the problem in the past and found a very simple solution that is not costly. Go to your local hardware store and purchase a 2$ (price may vary) sandpaper sponge. They usually come in a variety of roughness from fine to course. I use a medium grade. It is simple to use as well. When your feet are very dry - before a bath or shower, sand the spots that are rough. You can see the dry skin fall right off and leave you with a smooth surface. I also use this for my toes nails. Good luck with soft feet. It works for me. Use as often as necessary - note that if it gets to hot as you are rubbing you are too close to your real skin. I was a beautician in the past and have background in cosmetology education.

Whatever you do, DON'T peel the skin off! I did that for awhile & it hurt -- A LOT. Get a real salon pedicure 2x a month. It's worth every penny. They don't even have to shave your callouses...ask for the cream to dissolve the rough skin. Then they just scrub it off.

start with a really good pedicure from a nail salon. they have special treatments available to remove the callous area from the bottom of your feet.
then maintain your feet by using a foot loofah in the shower each day. you can get them at any beauty supply.
once or twice a month cover your feet w/ thick lotion or vaseline before you go to bed. wear 2pairs of socks over top and remove in the morning.
hope this helps!

Use a good pedicure scrub. You Can buy these at Target or Walmart, also try putting on lotion daily after you shower. Try Lucerin for dry, cracked, and chapped skin, this works very well.

One of the best ways is walking on a beach barefoot.

If that's not possible you can use a pumice stone and sand your feet.

Or you can use an exfoliating foot rub which accomplishes the same thing in a gentler way. They are made by Avon, Arbonne and others.

A feet scrubber will do it, soak your feet in the tub then scrub them on a regular basis.

getting a pedicure is the best way, but if you cannot do that use a pumice stone and moisturize with a heavy hand cream preferably one with shea butter in it.
