I weigh about 120...is this a normal weight?





I am a little more overweight than I would like.

I have grown about 3 inches since I was last to the doctor, about 6 months ago, where I was 120 and 4'11.


I have been going up and down in weight these past few weeks, and have gotten slightly skinnier since I grew.

You are just a tad overweight. Try to keep it this way and grow into it.

Technically speaking you are right in the middle of "normal" weight range. You can tell this by calculating your BMI. If you google BMI it will tell you how to calculate it. Being 13 years old you have a lot of changes that are still going to occur. You are definitely not overweight, so i wouldn't be too concerned. You are not fully developed yet (meaning your skeleton) so you have to be careful if you want to start an exercise program (consult a professional). At this stage keep active and eat healthy and you will be just fine.

Eat right. only whole fruits and vegetables.lean meats and ride a stationary bike in front of your TV.for an hour a day.
I lost 127 lbs in a short time doing that .aft re I got into a depression and let myself go.am healthier and feel much better.I worked at a health club, was manager .before that an instructor for years.This way is best.
It doesn't matter about charts and all that about how much you should weigh according to your height.
your body will go to where its supposed to be with proper nutrition and exercise,I wish you the best.
You have to take care of yourself, no one else will.
So just do it.get determined to take care of yourself.you will be much happier for it,for rest of your life.

That seems like it would be fine. You are still young and growing. Eat healthy and get some exercise. Every girl seems to be more overweight than they would like, but really girls should be a tad on the heftier side, because it helps when yall become pregnant. Also I remember hearing that being a little overwieght is good for you.

your just ta little overweight for your height you should be in between 110-115 Ibs trust me I'm a nurse.....I tell people if they are over weight or not all the time but don't feel bad about your size your young and you can easily lose weight and it's not a bad size some kids your age and height weight 130-140 lbs

This is perfectly normal. Although it is different for every person, you really need to know your BMI or Body Mass to know if you are healthy. Here is a link where you can check your body mass [this caters to teenagers]

once you inout your data if the result is between 19-24BMI you are in good shape.

Anywhere between 100lb and 125lb is good for your age. So 120lb is absolutely fine. HTH : )

you are a little overweight, but don't worry too much. you could get taller still and be the right weight. use this chart.
