It is most likely a generic form of Zoloft. Other companies now manufacture generic Zoloft and it can come in any size, shape and color the manufacturer decides on. There is no chemical difference between the generic and the name brand. The only difference is cost. Call your pharmacist about this if you are still concerned.

How should I take sertraline?

Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Sertraline may be taken with or without food. Try to take the medicine at the same time each day.
The liquid (oral concentrate) form of sertraline must be diluted before you take it. To be sure you get the correct dose, measure the liquid with the medicine dropper provided. Mix the dose with 4 ounces (one-half cup) of water, ginger ale, lemon/lime soda, lemonade, or orange juice. Do not use any other liquids to dilute the medicine. Stir this mixture and drink all of it right away. To make sure you get the entire dose, add a little more water to the same glass, swirl gently and drink right away.
This medicine can cause you to have a false positive drug screening test. If you provide a urine sample for drug screening, tell the laboratory staff that you are taking sertraline.
It may take up to 4 weeks before your symptoms improve. Keep using the medication as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.
Do not stop using sertraline suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Ask your doctor how to safely stop using sertraline.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

You need to speak with your pharmacist as soon as possible regarding this medication.

Unless something has changed, there is no form of Zoloft (sertraline) in either the name brand or generic form that is pink, much less having the 722 imprint on it. The generic and name brand forms of sertraline have the same general colors - green, blue, and yellow - based on their medication content.

Please speak with your pharmacist as soon as possible to confirm that this is a new form of generic. I actually think that the pharmacy technician gave you the wrong medication.

I assume it would also be the generic Zoloft. I am taking that currently at the 25mg level and mine are light green. My mom has the 50 mg blue ones. if you arent sure if they gave you the right dosage/etc, you can always verify the med with the pharmacy

They probably just gave you a generic. Be thankful that your drug is generic and you can get it for the reduced price that the D?!@ drug companies gouge you with when you have to take the non-generic.
