where is the best duck hunting in the U.S.?

There are 2 main hotbeds for duck hunting. One is on the Mississippi river flyway, and another is in the "prairie pothole" region of the US. This is in North Dakota and Montana. This area is filled with wetlands, and small lakes creating ideal waterfowl habitat or all kinds, harboring all species of ducks. Here you will find everything from pintails, to redheads, to mallards. The Mississippi is known for its mallards and black ducks. It really depends what you are looking for. Another great place to hunt is the great lakes area. Here in Ohio there are amazing numbers of birds in the western bays of Lake Erie, whether the Winous Point Hunting Club is located, the nations oldest hunting club. There are outstanding hunting opportunities all along the great lakes regions.

i have hunted Stuttgart when i was the duck hunting capital of the world and it was indeed good. I have NW MO and that is indeed good. I have hunted NE MO and that is good and has always been consistent. I have hunted SWMO and that was good. I have hunted KS and that was good. Then i realized it was the company i was with and the fact that i was hunting ducks so i decided the best duck hunting is where you have fun and great comradare regardless of if there are a lot of ducks or not!!
