I've been lifting weights for about 10 years. Everyting I read says no. Don't double up the same muscle on two days. I actually don't even double up any kind of workouts, I workout every other day.

And I'm telling you, if you make a plan to workout every single day, you won't be able to keep it up. Trust me.

Your muscles continue to work for approximately 24 hours after you've worked out so it's best to wait at least 48 hours before working the same muscle group again.

You need to give the muscles a day to recover so work them every other day.
