Yes you can BUT a flat paint is the worse sheen you want for walls. Flat paint is porous and will mar very easy meaning it will get dirty and hard to wipe, not durable at all and if you've got little ones forget it ! Go with a velvet or eggshell sheen and then you'll be able to wipe it if it gets dirty. If you must go with a flat paint to hide the sins in your walls then I suggest Benjamin Moores Matt finish, pricey ($32 gal) but it's washable, good luck

Yup. Just paint it with primer first so the flat paint will stick better.

Sure you can...this girl has done alot of painting. Just be sure to use a primer on your walls first, then it will be perfect!
