Excellent choice - but make sure it's wholemeal bread, not just "brown" bread. And no butter on the toast!
Even better, buy the low salt/sugar beans.

Baked beans are a good source of secondary protein. In the 80s I remember the 'F' plan diet - 'F' being Fibre. However 'F' is also the first letter of 'fart' - and that's an inconvenience with a bean diet.

Baked Beans are really good for you they are full of Fibre i eat a lot of them i love them
If you can eat Wholemeal or Granary bread which is even better for you than brown bread

Bacon, egg and tomato on fried bread sandwich. Side of baked beans with sausage and a side of hash browns.

Brown bread good. Beans good. "Baked Beans" bad! They say in tomato sauce. Should say sugar sauce!

Buy the low salt and sugar versions, don't use butter either on the bread, otherwise they are both high in fibre and the tomato sauce high in vitamin C and something else that i cannot recall the name of but is present in all red fruit and veg and is good against cancer....

beans r indeed healthy and with brown bread yes.....dont know more bout having it during a diet

Yes, they are both low fat and high fibre, and although the beans have sugar they are still better than a lot of things cause they fill you up and hopefully stop you snacking later on...yum yum!!! x x

Definately a low fat option...I used to eat this alot when I was on weightwatchers. Tin tomatoes on toast are delicious too! Try to skip the butter/marg though!!!

beans have a lot of protein but are very fattening so not good for a diet
