No, don't worry dogs eats a lot of grass because is the natural way to get rid o parasites. But if they eat to much the only thing that can happened is that they can suffer from irritation of the throat and stomach. It happen to my dog once, so don't worry It is completely normal.

It is normal for dogs and puppies to eat some grass. They do it for digestive reasons. Two concerns- One is the amount is above and beyond chewing small amounts maybe a couple times. Second- pesticides and fertilizer on grass. Even a small amount can make a dog fatally sick. So keep a closs eye on where your dog goes and whats on your lawn. If he is eating healthy with firm stools, I wouldn't worry. Any signs of not eating, loose stools or vomiting more than twice, consult a vet. PS Make sure he is fully vaccinated and dewormed

Many dogs do this. It helps with digestion. Just make sure that there are no chemicals or pesticides of any kind being used on the grass, because these things are poisonous. Also make sure that he's not swallowing any rocks or pebbles along with the grass. If his stool is loose, then he is eating too much so you should restrict this. You can also give some veggies to him at home - many dogs like carrots.

Dogs eat grass because their little tummy's hurt. I'm not sure exactly what it does for them but it must help them feel better. I would be concerned if my dog did it for a week or so. My dog will munch on grass about once a week. If you have recently changed his/her food from one type to another, this can cause stomach irritation and it could be an explanation for the grass eating..

Most dogs eat grass and weeds because they like to. The problem with it is they get sick and throw up. I would strongly discourage it. Is your dog getting enough to eat? Is it healthy food? Some cheap foods do not make the puppy feel full. More is not necessarily better either. Has he been checked for worms and other parasites? This would be a good idea. Besides all of the above, It is VERY important to spoil him or her very much!

your pup is in the best care if he/she eats alot of grass and other non-toxic, non-poisonous,and non-venus fly catcher plants you see grass helps dog have a very good digestive system. It also helps them have good saliva to help heal those wounds. Grass is like eating b-12 it keeps you strong and healthy everyday. so if you want less visits to the vet keep on eating that tasty, nutritious, vitamin alphabet plant!

Usually when a dog eats alot of grass they have a stomach ache. If he does it every time he is near grass take him to the vet, he is trying to make himself throw up.

Some puppies will chew on anything plant-like, so make sure none of the plants or weeds are dangerous for his little puppy body. If you're giving him good puppy food (like Iams or Science Diet), I wouldn't worry. Maybe he needs some chew toys!

Grass and plants like weeds help puppies digest their food. Unless your puppy starts to vomit, I would say he's absolutly fine!

It's good that you're so attentive. You didn't say how big your puppy was, or if the cookie had dark chocolate, which has more theobromine than milk chocolate. To be sure, call your vet and tell them exactly what your dog ate.
