Without a doubt. Barbados tops the list. Not only do we have the bluest clearest beach water. We have the most wonderful and friendly people.

Hope to see you there soon.

I would say Culebra, a small island off of Puerto Rico.
One of the top 10 beaches in the world according to the travel channel. Oh yeah, don't go during easter or spring break,

Look at www.prtourism.com to find out more.

All of the islands naturally have beautiful clear blue water
BUT, the recent warming trends have affected the ocean currents and we are experiencing a lot of sand in the water so the visibility is often very poor. It has also encouraged algae growth on the reefs and rocks which aslo affects the clarity of the water.

Well, the only tropical island I have ever visited is Grand Cayman, and I have to tell you... the water there is breathtaking! Our flight landed at night, but we walked to the beach anyhow, and the next morning when we finally got to see what is really looked like in the daylight.. it took my breath away. I cannot wait to get to go back there!!

The Cayman Islands are beautiful. I thought the water was best at St. Maarten. They both sound heavenly right now!

We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon last October, and I thought the water was very clear, very blue, and very beautiful!

I've heard that what makes the water bluer is how white the sand at the bottom of the ocean is. The whiter the sand, the bluer the water looks. Something to do with how light is reflected on the sand.

Cuba has the most amazing ocean, you can see the fish swimming round your toes without having to wear a snorkel mask, beautifully clear and as warm as bathtub water.
