Don't be in such a hurry to grow up. Eleven is too young. Give yourself a few years yet.

At age 11 chances are your parents will not really let you go out and date...like going to dinner and a movie...that is most likely out of the question. Having a boyfriend at age 11 is more like a boy that you see at school and he might tickle you or you guys might pass leters in class or something to that effect. Boyfriends at a young age are pretty much just that...boy FRIENDS. I think boyfriends at a young age are fine but dating...now that is a whole other story. Good Luck!

I think 11 is way too young to date but if it's only something simple like going to a movie or something I suppose it's alright. I do think you should talk to your parents though for I am sure they might have an opinion and you need to talk to them so you don't cause any trouble on the home front. But if they are alright with it and if it is nothing serious then go for it and if not don't worry you will have plenty of years ahead of you to date. Good luck!

11 is too young to go out for one on one dates. It's not too young for parents to arrange for group outings to roller areas, laser tag places, and so forth. You don't have to have a boyfriend to have a social life, and sometimes the two are mutually exclusive! :P
Look for fun with your friendships, not for serious interest in particular boys. 5 or 6 more years will see you more emotionally mature and ready for the strange interactions of boyfriend-girlfriend social life.

Eleven is too young to date. There isn't much you could even do at that age except go to movies or to a party. I would advise waiting a few years before you start dating.

Ultimately, it's up to your mom an dad but I don't think so.
Many will say "Yes" but they have this delusion that to "date" means you are going to run off and find a dark alley and screw your brains out.
"Dating" to young people is simply to hang out somewhere because you like them.
"Dating" to older people means a dinner and a move and a possible "dessert" (hubba, hubba) afterwards.

Well, it's an innocent enough age....but I would say it's way to young unless your parents approve of and usher your "dates".
