I pray and ask God to be with me and that is comforting, and then after a while I'll go shopping or something fun, or I'll call up a friend and we'll hang out !

Music, Talks with my sisters or friends, A funny movie, dancing or a simple nap. Writing, reading a good book, cooking or baking something special, taking a walk, daydreaming. I could go on and on. I thinks it's just terrible that most people haven't learned to enjoy their own company. I've found since I have inner peace that even if I'm alone. I'm rarely lonely

I enjoy listening to up-beat music, like a favorite album or artist. Physical activity is always good, failing that I emerse myself in my hobbies like drawing or model building.
Most important though is not to isolate yourself, go out see a movie or concert, even if you're alone. Social contact never hurt anyone. Surprisingly I've even made a few freinds on here who I talk with when I'm feeling "down & out".

knowing that its OK, it's normal to feel down, feeling good is something to look forward to like spring. Can't enjoy the spring unless you experience the winter. Enjoy those bad feelings. At least you still can feel. You haven't numbed yourself to all emotion yet. If you try to eliminate the bad you will also sacrifice the good, in the process.

a good rap CD..like eminem or the game. sometimes chocolate helps..ALOT. and some times television helps too. just watching something that is funny to make me see the funny side of stuff. and maybe something sad to make me feel that things could be worse. lol i'm 15 so pretty much a lot of stuff helps cheer me up when i'm down/ lol >>>>>>teenage hormones.

My partner lives in another city than I do. When I am lonely I listen to music that has meaning to us both, spend time with my friends and my dog, exercise and talk to my baby on the phone. Suddenly, the loneliness feeling vanishes and before I know it is the weekend and I am on my way to see him.

gettting out and doing something, even if it's by yourself. the worst thing to do when you're lonely is to be alone. go out to a mall and shop around. you won't necessarily be shopping with anyone, but you'll be around lots of other people who are shopping too. and hey, if you can, give one of your friends a call and meet up while you shop!

i listen to songs that promte the idea of power :) in order to feel good, remeber mate, your words predict your future, if you feel lonely, try to get out of it by talking to oyur best friends or watch a dvd.
when you feel like ****, say i am enjoyinh myslef , i am discovering new ways to entertain myself, say affirming quotes instead of how lonely, i am sad, in order to feel good , by doing so your environemnt wil respond,
your frinds wil notice a change of character, oyu wil attract posiitve persons, usualy, being lonely is a process, not a thing that hapens overnight, are you taking good care of your friends, do you care about them, do you get out frequently?
make it a point to affirm yourself everyday with positive thinking even if you do not feel like, results will turn out just great
