Have you talked to him about it?? My girlfriend of a yr and 4 months and i have the problem too. I use to go nuts cuz we really didnt have many deep conversations, after awhile it became a real concern for me. I didnt really want to be with someone i couldnt comunicate with, but i really love her so much. So i did what no man like to do :P I told her, i asked why things were like that and why we didnt talk as much as we used to. It's not perfect now but it is alot better, come to find out she was used to guys not really caring what she thought so she never offered it anymore. And she didnt realize i was having a hard time with it. So now she is trying and i have more patience. So fi you havent asked him bout it, then you should. IF you have, then try what we are doing... there is a book called Wild at Heart that had an amazing effect on me, and another book called the 5 languages of love that we use to stimulate conversations. The 5 languages of love also has suggestions to help improve the qaulity of you conversations.

Relationships (especially good ones that are going to last and last) go through natural stages. Perhaps he is past the "flurry" stage and feeling the "comfortable contented" stage. This can be a good thing! Or, it could be that the novelty has worn off and it's all going stale. The best way I know to find out is to suggest to him that you enjoyed the friendship part better and would rather have that alone. You'll know right away why he's not talking and what the outcome will be. Trust me.

Sometimes being in a relationship kills the friendship. Talk to him and see if he misses your phone conversations/

Maybe you'll have to give up the relationship to get the friendship back.

i think its normal...in the begining your getting to know eachother so you have more to say....now your phone conversations are gonna be mainly how was your day and what r our plans for the weekend. dont worry too much aobut it
