one of my friends is on drugs right now and I think he's emo. everyone tells me I need to avoid him but I want to help him. He used to like me a lot, but as soon as he transferred schools he's changed. And now he is a totaly freak. I can't help but kinda like him though. Should I completely avoid him??

wow, i cant believe that its only been a short time since i got out of high school and now they have a new group of kids. Now it's also wrong for you to HAVE FEELINGS?? Sheesh, that's what Emo means.. emotional. Bet you didnt put two and two together huh? And thus, getting emotional does in fact make u prone for drug use. dont be a d*ck... help your friend if you truly love him

looks like everyone is telling you to avoid him....i don't think that is the best thing to do, i think if you think you can make a difference i his life without messing up yours you should try, and its OK if you like him, just don't let that get in the way of your judgment....if you make a difference he will thank you in the long run, if you show how much you care about him he will turn out OK, i know this because i have had a first hand experience

Drug use often changes a person's basic personality, so that they come to be a totally different person than you once knew.
If you can help him get help for his drug problem, sure, help him out. Otherwise, avoid entangling yourself in that sort of mess, because it only leads to trouble down the line.

No, emo people need to have friends. If he changed you might be one of his only friends at this piont, you need to be there for him. If he comes to senses and realises that some one cares for him he will think 'hey, i mean somethin to someone, he really cares and i should stop the drugs'

Tell him your concerned about him and his drug use. I don't know what "emo" all entails, I thought it was simply a music trend. (Makes me feel REALLY old.)
If he doesn't react to hearing your concerns (he should if he's as good a friend as you say he is/was) then he's better left alone. He'll need to figure it out for himself that his choices are dangerous.

Avoid him like the plague. Let his parents deal with his problem. You need to focus on school and keeping your life straight.

Emos arent nothing to be scared of, lots of them are hott. But i think you shrould try talking to him and let him know what hes doing to himself. Hes ruining his life.

first thing first...emo is a sterotype...dont use that to explain someone...everyone is different so rly theres not one group of ppl that are alike...second thing..thats what life is about...changes...people are always changing...some more than others...if you dont like it then dont deal with that person...if you like it dont let it get in the way of you likin that person for who they rly are
