I didn't file taxes in 2004 or 2005. I just thought I didnt make that much so whatever. Didnt realize that I get $$ for my daughter, etc. I am wondering if for 2004 & 2005 they have to be mailed in or if there is someway to efile those. Also wondering (I know they say it can take up to 90 to process returns) how soon it could be processed when paper returns are mailed in. I know w/ state that was efiled i had the check in less than a week and they said it could take 21 days. Any info would help, i need to get car fixed!! thanks!

You will have to mail in your previous tax returns. they are not accepting efile for prior years (probably scared that they will get things mixed up between tax years or something).

You are looking at AT LEAST 6-8 weeks, probably longer since they are focusing on this years tax return.

to envision the term for submitting previous tax returns, right this is the seen statute of barriers for tax return. decrease than this concept, The IRS has 3 years to grant you a reimbursement in case you deserve any, 3 years to audit your tax return in case you made any mistake on your return, and ten years to assemble any tax due. It is going like- 3 years from the final date of submitting a tax return. For eg in the experience that your 2008 tax return is due on April 15, 2009, you are able to document it via April 15, 2012. After that your refund expires. with regard to the W-2, you will get the reproduction of your W-2 from IRS. documents like W2 are consistently submitted to IRS via the corporation. indexed right here are some basic steps, if accompanied, would be a huge help with your tax returns:

Returns for previous years have to be mailed in. You might get lucky and get your money in six weeks or so but would probably take longer, but it's money you don't have now, and the sooner you file, the sooner they'll process it.
