We currently don't have health insurance. Sad, but true. Can't afford out of pocket for a doctor or private insurance. The only way we'll get anywhere near a hospital is if we have to go to the ER, and that better be darned serious. Like, losing a limb.

Yes. I'm self-employed, and only in the past few years have I been able to afford the insurance. It's very expensive for a single person.

Self employer, have coverage, pay out of my own pocket.

I recommend high-copay policies if you are healthy and think policies are too expensive.
