First off, I have Adobe Reader 7.0.
My professor sent me a file that she wants filled out, but I can't figure out how to fill it out!! I've tried using the I shaped cursor-- select tool but its not working, its just selecting the 'whole' document. I've also tried to copy/paste to word but that isn't working either.

Can anyone tell me how to fill this out and save it to submit it to her?

Thanks!!

There are 2 types of forms one that has an option to fill it Using Normal Adobe and other a scanned copy. filling a scanned Form Using Adobe is not possible, you might have to convert it to "Word" first.
Use below link for that(Able2Doc PDF to Word Converter 3.0 - Try Free Trail).

Then convert it back to PDF(do Only if REQUIRED in PDF format). to do this use below link.

With Adobe Reader 7, you can only fill out the information and print, but not save it. You would have to have Adobe Acrobat Pro to actually save it. (I have struggled with this before and found the answers in Acro Pro's help section.) Second, if it's a fillable form, it would say so and have a checkbox on the top right that says "Highlight Fields" and a Print button next to it.

I am not sure if reader has this, but I use professional 7.0 and there is a tool called "TouchUp text tool". Do a search for it in help or try and find it through the drop down menues.

You have to convert it to a "word document" using a special software if copy and paste does not work

Just print it out and fill it out the old school way, then scan it in and email it.
