Obviously letting the air go out of it will make it go flat, but will a change in temperature also cause it to go flat?

Nope. What makes pop "flat" is when all of the gases (which make the bubbles) escape. As long as the can is closed, the gases can't come out. However, if you open a can of pop when its warm, it will go flat sooner than when you open a cold can, because the gases evaporate sooner. But you wouldn't open a can of warm pop anyways.

I actually have found the opposite to be true, my soda tends to go flat quicker when I put it in the fridge. It takes longer to go flat when I keep it out, I guess colder temperatures make it less carbonated, or maybe I just don't tighten the cap as much when I put it in the fridge! But I think the fridge makes it go flat sooner

it doesn't make much of a difference in or out of the fridge,,,once it's open, you only have so long until it's flat. the only thing you should make sure of is to keep it standing---laying the drink on it's side makes it go flat faster.

Not the change in temp. but more of that while it's out of the Fridge air is slowly being released, while in the fridge the air is compressed keeping the carbonation from seeping out longer.
